The latest Rasmussen Report poll gives DFL Sen. Amy Klobuchar and GOP Gov. Tim Pawlenty high marks. Meanwhile, DFL Sen. Al Franken is getting marginal numbers.
The telephone survey of 500 voters, taken on September 15th, found that 41 percent of those polled think Franken is doing a good or excellent job. 56 percent think DFL Sen. Amy Klobuchar is doing a good or excellent job and 56 percent think Pawlenty is doing a good or excellent job.
Meanwhile, 49 percent of Minnesota voters somewhat or strongly approve of the health care plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats (which is slightly higher than the national level). 48 percent disapprove of the plan.
Those polled also say 72 percent think Gov. Pawlenty will run for president. 50 percent also say they are somewhat concerned or very concerned about the amount of time Pawlenty spends out of state.
