A Lakeville teen has died after falling off a rock ledge while hiking at Taylors Falls, Chisago County officials said.

Daniel Richard Canfield was hiking with two friends at Interstate Park on Wednesday afternoon when he reportedly lost his balance near a 20-to 30-foot rock ledge.

Canfield, 18, was airlifted to Region's Hospital, where he died of his injuries on Thursday.
