The city of Duluth is receiving $1.8 million in federal stimulus funds to buy five biodiesel buses.
The U.S. Department of Transportation announced the award Friday.
The funds were made available through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Since the act was signed into law in February, 384 grants totaling $3.5 billion have been made nationwide.
