Double shooting in Duluth leaves one dead

A man was killed and another injured after a shooting in Duluth.

Lt. Scott Jenkins says police have a "person of interest" in custody, but it's not determined whether the person is a suspect.

Jenkins says a man shot in the head around 10 p.m. Sunday night died at St. Luke's hospital. A man shot in the leg is expected to survive.

Leonte Graves, a friend of the deceased victim, says a group was involved in an earlier dispute over a loose dog, but police appeared to have settled it.

But later, he says, one of the participants returned and resumed the fight. He says the deceased man was not involved in the earlier dispute.

Police Deputy Chief Mike Tusken says police don't know if the same people are involved.
