Minnesota State resumes programs in Mexico

Minnesota State University in Mankato is lifting its suspension of academic programs in Mexico.

The programs had canceled foreign study programs in April because of swine flu.

Now that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have revised travel recommendations for Mexico, some universities have lifted their restrictions.

Caryn Lindsay, Minnesota State's director of international programs, says university officials will continue to monitor the flu situation around the world to see if the situation worsens.
