Shortly after Minnesota's acclaimed poet and essayist Bill Holm died in February, many of his friends gathered at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul to remember him.
Poets, musicians, and fans of his poetry told stories about Bill Holm, read poems, and played music in his honor.
Holm was known all over the country for his distinctly Minnesota writing. He wrote many poems and books, including "Boxelder Bug Variations," and his most recent, "Windows of Brimnes: An American in Iceland."
Holm died in February at the age of 65.
