Author Patricia Hampl draws from literary sources far and wide to take listeners on a literary voyage down the Mississippi River. She reads from her own memoirs as well as the work of other poets, novelists, historians and essayists.
"Life on the Upper Mississippi: a Literary Excursion" was performed in October at the University of Minnesota. Hampl was accompanied by Twin Cities musician Dan Chouinard.
