Washington Post reporter Steve Fainaru discusses the parallel army of 100,000 that is filling in the gaps in Iraq. He says these privately-hired mercenaries operate outside the rules of engagement.

Fainaru is the author of a new book, "Big Boy Rules: In the Company of America's Mercenaries." He spoke at the Commonwealth Club of California last week.
