It's officially fall.   Yesterday at 10:44 a.m. marked the autumnal equinox, the date each year when the sun begins spending more time below the horizon than above it.  That moment is considered the official beginning of fall in the northern hemisphere.  But commentator Peter Smith does not mark the change in seasons by looking to the sky.  He sees the  change at the end of his own bed.
