The big political show is over at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul with the Republican convention, but there's another political gathering in Minneapolis at the Target Center. It's kind of a counter-convention created by supporters of Texas GOP congressman and one-time presidential candidate Ron Paul.
Morning Edition host Cathy Wurzer talked with John John Tate, executive director of Ron Paul's Campaign for Liberty.
