There are just a few more days of competition left to go at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Melody Ng, who works in the Minnesota Public Radio newsroom, is on vacation in Beijing right now.

Ng talked with Morning Edition host Cathy Wurzer about her return to the city where she lived several years ago.

Among other observations, Ng described the bizarre spectator experience at the Olympic canoeing venue.
