The FTC announced new rules this week that will prohibit recorded sales calls beginning in September 2009.
But an exception to the new rule has drawn the ire of one advocacy group. Recorded political calls will still be allowed.
Future Tense's Jon Gordon talked with Shaun Dakin, with the group stoppoliticalcalls.org.
Dakin argues that consumers should be able to opt out of pre-recorded political calls, and that bans against them should be enforced.
