(AP) - The death of a University of Minnesota student whose body was found in the Mississippi River has been ruled accidental.
The Hennepin County medical examiner's office said Rachel Dow, 29, of Minneapolis suffered hypothermia after she fell through the ice earlier this month.
The medical examiner also said acute alcohol intoxication was another significant factor in Dow's death.
Dow was last seen at the Uptown Bar and Cafe in Minneapolis. Friends said she often went to the river as a place to escape.
Her body was recovered on Jan. 12.
