The St. Paul Greyhound station was pretty busy on Wednesday. Greyhound runs twice as many buses this time of year. Travelers, some from as far away as Jefferson City, Mo. and Phoenix were waiting for the 11:40 from Minneapolis to Duluth.
It was 20 minutes late, but the system in general was running smoothly, according to Daniel Jeske, manager of the University Avenue station.
He says a computer glitch added to the busy atmosphere and they were issuing tickets by hand, "back to the dark ages." However, Jeske says it didn't really contribute to any delays.
All Things Considered host Tom Crann headed out to the University Avenue Greyhound station to talk to folks about their alternative holiday travel mode.
