Behind the veto

The governor's veto pen has gotten a work-out over the last few days, with the governor nixing several major spending bills sent to him by the DFL-controlled Legislature.

The state Revisor of Statutes is the office charged with physically delivering the bills to the governor's desk. Host Steven John talked to Revisor Michele Timmons about what it takes to legally veto a bill.

Then Steven talked to Lyall Schwarzkopf, former Chief of Staff for Gov. Arne Carlson, about what can happen when the rules aren't followed.
