Meet Cari Spencer

Cari Spencer is a reporter for MPR News covering public safety and Minneapolis City Hall.  

Cari joined MPR News as an intern in 2024. Previously, she was a reporting intern at the Los Angeles Times and wrote for Crosstown LA​, the LA​ School Report and The 74.    

Cari attended the University of Southern California where she earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
