DNC opens in Chicago with Harris-Walz ticket. Hennepin commissioners look to more modest raise

And Hennepin County Commissioners are planning to take a vote Tuesday on a more modest pay increase after public criticism of its previously proposed 49 percent pay bump. Commissioners are now proposing to increase their own salaries by five percent for each of the next two years.
