Minnesota's delegation to the Republican National Convention cheered enthusiastically Tuesday night as U.S. Rep. Tom Emmer took the stage. And the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board offered a final contract proposal Tuesday to leaders of the union that represents more than 300 park workers. The Minneapolis City Council, meanwhile, has passed a resolution expressing solidarity with park workers.
