The health care system is facing gridlocks and delays in the discharges of patients who are awaiting beds in long-term care and rehab facilities, resulting in fewer available hospital beds for new patients. And Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey has vetoed a resolution calling for a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war which was passed by the city council last week.
