St. Paul to get new police chief this week
St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter chose Commander Axel Henry to replace Chief Todd Axtell, who retired in June. Henry is scheduled to take the oath of office following a city council confirmation vote Wednesday; his six-year term begins on Saturday. This is an MPR News morning update, hosted by Cathy Wurzer.
