He joined host Angela Davis to talk about these confusing economic indicators and how they might be pointing towards a national recession.

He also spoke about the rich history between the Minneapolis Federal Reserve and the University of Minnesota. For 50 years, they’ve teamed up on economic policy research that touches on topics that drive Minnesota’s ever-growing economy.

Fed president Neel Kashkari has spoken about these topics publicly. He was the first Minneapolis Fed president in recent memory to go in front of the legislature to discuss issues like economic disparities, the importance of immigration and affordable housing.
