Early voting is underway for Minnesota’s primary election. On Aug. 13, in person voters will determine which candidates will be on the ballot for the general election on Nov. 5.
MPR News reached out to all candidates, providing a three-question survey for them to fill out and inform voters about who they are and their priorities if elected.

Here are the non partisan candidates running in the primary: Alex Cutchey, Scott Brodeen, Tami Calhoun, Patrick Crooks, Bill Doll, Mindy Ellingson, Charlie Hobbs, George Hontos, Lenora Hunt, Hudda Ibrahim, Mark Johnson, Nicholas Lengyel, Emmanuel Oppong, Michael H. Peterson, Omar Abdullahi Podi and Garrett Zimmerman, all nonpartisan.
