Cooler on Sunday; snow or a wintry mix on Monday
Chilly midweek
The Saturday high temperature at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport was 36 degrees. That’s 7 degrees warmer than our average Feb. 15 Twin Cities high of 29 degrees. It was great to see the sunshine linger through much of the day. Sunday highs will be cooler.

The Twin Cities metro area, southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin could also see some freezing drizzle/light freezing rain at times on Monday.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s North American Mesoscale forecast model shows the potential precipitation pattern Sunday evening through Monday evening:
The metro area could see between 1 and 2 inches of snow accumulation on Monday, with higher amounts possible in parts of southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Portions of northern Minnesota will see several inches of snow from Sunday afternoon through Monday:
