Winter has returned to much southern and south-central Minnesota. A storm is delivering heavy snow and strong winds. Meanwhile, the National Weather Service is expecting 8 to 12 inches of snow in the Twin Cities area. A winter storm is in the works. The National Weather Service has doubled its Twin Cities snow forecast to 6 to 8 inches as the storm tracks farther north. Expect deteriorating conditions in southern and east-central Minnesota on Tuesday afternoon. | Updraft
