Members of the Minneapolis City Council voted to shift around $1 million from the mayor’s proposed 2023 police department budget in order to fund other functions. The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office said Monday that more than 200 anglers were on a large ice chunk that broke free on the northern Minnesota lake.
