A low-pressure wave spinning through Minnesota Tuesday night is pushing scattered rain and thunderstorms from west to east.

Stronger cells could produce heavy downpours, gusty winds, and even some small hail before fading Tuesday night. The chances for severe weather have diminished.

Wednesday brings a spectacular but breezy spring day. Look for plenty of sunshine, and high temperatures will rise into the upper 60s once again across southern Minnesota.

More rain starts Thursday

We’re having a tough time shaking our active wet weather pattern this month. The next system pushes more rain into Minnesota from Thursday into Friday. A second system brings more rain on Saturday. NOAA’s GFS model shows the trend between Thursday morning and Saturday afternoon.
